Client journey
Client Side
In web development, “client side” means the code that runs in your browser. Here it also means seeing everything from the client’s side. I’m a developer and a hairstylist, and both taught me the same lesson: the journey matters as much as the result.
01 // The Apple example
Why does buying an iPhone feel different?
Walk into an Apple Store and nothing is behind glass. Someone greets you at the door, you can book help from your phone in a few taps, and you can pay while standing next to the product you chose. None of that is about the phone. It is about the journey.
Steve Jobs said you should start with the customer experience and work back to the technology. That is exactly how I think about booking a braiding appointment, and how I build websites.
